I have been working as a Freelance Chartered Landscape Architect since 2008, and as a Garden Designer and Landscape Architect for over 20 years. Work includes Roof Gardens, one in Chelsea and one in Central London. Many housing schemes, school playgrounds, public parks, ecology planting plans and Landscape Visual Impact Assessments some for various schemes.
I have been employed by Milton Keynes Council for 7 years until July 2015 and have been jointly the head of a team of Landscape Architects. Whilst working for Milton Keynes Council I have designed and overseen the implementation of many play area and school extension sites, urban square redevelopment, playing fields, baseball courts, Muga's and housing schemes. We worked both for internal clients such as Leisure, Education and Environment as consultants but also bid for external work from housing developers and other council's.
Whilst at Milton Keynes Council I assisted the team by commenting on over 200 planning applications some of which have been key developments for Milton Keynes, expansion areas, Strategic Land Allocation Sites and small to large planning applications.
Previous to this I worked for Landscape, Town & Country and designed schemes including the Northern Expansion Area Masterplan, Broughton Gate, Monkston, Caldecott Lakeside housing schemes, Tattenhoe Park, Playing Fields and Play Area, Oundle Road Peterborough Playing Fields, Car Park & Play Area,Hertfordshire Regional Colleges, Legoland Lazy River Ride, Fernwood School Aspley Guise Playground, generally all hard & soft landscape detailing.
